1. Who we are

SINCE EDEN is an independent vintage and pre-owned designer shop, trading as SINCE EDEN, based in the United Kingdom.

2. No affiliation with brands

SINCE EDEN is an independent reseller. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, sponsored by or in any way connected to any of the designers, fashion houses or brands whose pre-owned and vintage items we sell.

All brand names, logos and product names mentioned on this website, on our social media channels or on any marketplace where we list items are the property of their respective owners. We use them only to identify and accurately describe the genuine pre-owned items we offer. Their use does not imply any relationship with, or approval from, the trademark owner.

3. Pre-owned and vintage items

Every item we sell is pre-owned or vintage, and is not new. Items may show signs of age and previous use, such as light wear, patina, marks, fading or small imperfections. We describe the condition of each item in its listing and show it in the photographs, and we encourage you to read the description and look at every image before buying.

Because our items are pre-owned:

they do not come with the original brand's warranty or guarantee;
the original brand may not repair, service, resize or authenticate them;
they may not include original packaging, dust bags, receipts or certificates unless the listing says so.

4. Authenticity

Our items are purchased from reputable and well-known authentic vintage suppliers. We carefully examine every item before listing it, and we only sell items we believe to be authentic. Our authentication approach is explained on our Authenticity page.

5. Descriptions, sizing and images

We do our best to describe each item accurately. Please note:

measurements are approximate and taken by hand;
colours may look different on different screens;
vintage sizing often differs from modern sizing, so please check the measurements given;
dates, eras and materials are our best assessment based on labels, construction and research, and are not a guarantee from the brand.

6. Availability and pricing

Each piece is usually one of a kind. We may also list items on other platforms, so an item can sell elsewhere before our website updates. If an item you ordered is no longer available, we will let you know promptly and give you a full refund.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.

7. Intellectual property

The photographs, text, graphics, branding and design of this website belong to SINCE EDEN, unless stated otherwise. Please do not copy, reproduce or reuse them without our written permission.

8. Your legal rights

Nothing in this notice affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Please see our Returns Policy for details of how to return an item.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Governing law

This notice and any dispute arising from it are governed by the laws of [England and Wales], and the courts of [England and Wales] have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in your home nation of the UK.
